"The Mystery On The
Mesa"
In 1990 a local company was inspecting aerial
photos of Albuquerque's west mesa, when they
found a pattern that appeared to be three
hexagons connected by a larger hexagon with three lines
meeting in the middle.
The word "Terf" was spelled out beside
the design. Upon ground investigation it was
found that the design was made up of around 450
tires. The local police were notified and one of
the biggest, and funniest, cases of local media
hysteria was underway...
